DeLauro encourages faith in electoral process and voter registrations

NEW HAVEN— Congresswoman Rosa DeLauro spoke Friday morning about the integrity of the election process. Republican Presidential nominee Donald Trump has made a lot of headlines in recent weeks, calling the nation’s election system “rigged“.

Friday morning, DeLauro talked about the importance of people having faith in the election process.

Men and women around this coutry who have faith in our electoral process and our democratic process with a small “d” need to speak out about the security of that ballot and that vote.”

DeLauro, along with New Haven Mayor Toni Harp, are also encouraging Connecticut residents to register to vote by the deadline of November 1st.
